LOCTITE® SUPERBOND ALL PLASTICS is a two-part kit consisting of a liquid instant adhesive and a pen with a surface activator.

It is designed to bond all types of household plastics to themselves and to other materials.

Ideal for difficult-to-bond plastics such as polyethylene and

polypropylene, but will also bond other plastics, rubber, metals, wood, ceramics, leather, textiles, cardboard and paper.

Bonding speed: Initial tack occurs in 5 to 30 seconds, depending on the substrate.

Bond strength (ISO 4587): 2 to 20 N/mm2 (tensile-shear) in 12 to 24 hours, depending on the substrate.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE

1. Ensure that all surfaces to be bonded are clean, dry and sound.

2. Avoid skin contact with adhesive or activator.

3. First apply one or two coats of activator to both surfaces.

Ensure that the coverage is sufficient to cover the entire area to be bonded. Replace the activator pen tip tightly immediately after use.

4. Allow the activator to dry and react with the surface for 1 to 2 minutes.

5. Apply a minimal amount of LOCTITE® SUPERBOND ALL PLASTICS to one of the surfaces to be bonded.

6. Immediately bring the parts together and hold by hand for at least 1 minute.

7. Leave undisturbed for 10 minutes or preferably overnight to allow the bond to reach full strength.

8. Avoid spillage and protect work surfaces. Remove any hardened SUPERBOND ALL PLASTICS with LOCTITE® Super Glue Remover.

9. For best results, adhesives should be prepared at room temperature (15 - 30 °C) and, at a minimum, 30% relative humidity.

10. For optimal product shelf life, wipe the tip with a thin cloth to remove excess adhesive, replace the cap and store the package in a cool, dry place.

RESTRICTIONS

• For indoor use only.

• Do not use on dusty, dirty or wet surfaces.

• Not suitable for bonding glass, glazed surfaces, very soft leather or foam.

• If there is any doubt that the activator may affect the surface, test in an inconspicuous area.

• Never use to bond components that will contain hot liquids.

STORAGE

Keep in a cool, dry place and out of the reach of children.
